Let’s Make This Happen

Experienced, Compassionate Support

Choosing a coach is a personal decision. I bring over 200 hours of coaching experience, an ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential, and a Certificate in Grief Coaching to my work. My approach combines thoughtful listening, meaningful questions, and practical support tailored to your individual experience of grief and loss.

My goal is to provide more than a place to talk. I want to help you better understand your experience, explore what matters most to you, and discover ways to move forward while honoring your loss.

Let’s Start With a Conversation

Whether you’re grieving the death of someone you love or navigating another significant loss, you deserve a place where you can tell your story, explore what you’re feeling, and consider what moving forward might look like for you.

I’m Cheryl Breland, an ICF-credentialed coach with a Grief Coaching certification and over 200 hours of coaching experience. I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to explore your grief, ask questions, and consider what support would help most.

Moving Forward Through Grief Class—$20 | four 60-minute live sessions

Grief can leave you with questions, unexpected emotions, and uncertainty about what is normal or how to move forward. You may wonder whether what you’re experiencing is typical, why your grief feels different from someone else’s, or what might help you navigate life after loss.

In Moving Forward Through Grief, you’ll learn about the grieving process, explore common grief myths, and discover practical steps for caring for yourself. You’ll also have the opportunity to share your story and learn alongside others in a supportive community.

What We’ll Explore

Over four weeks, we’ll explore:

  • What Is Normal Grief? Understand common grief responses and recognize that there is no single right way to grieve.
  • Action Steps: Explore practical ways to care for yourself and navigate the challenges of life after loss.
  • Principles for Self-Coaching: Learn questions and approaches that can help you reflect on your experience and identify helpful next steps.
  • Grief Myths: Examine common misconceptions about grief and the expectations that can make grieving more difficult.
  • Why Every Grief Is Unique: Explore how each person’s relationship, circumstances, and experience of loss shape their grief.

Learn and Share in a Supportive Community

You will have opportunities to tell your story, listen to others, and learn in a compassionate environment where your experience is respected. You are not expected to grieve in a particular way or be at a particular stage in your journey.

Whether you are grieving the death of someone you love or processing another significant loss, you are welcome to join us.
